Ageing infrastructure cannot be replaced quickly enough and every day billions of litres of treated water are lost through leaks and bursts caused by the limitations of conventional pressure reducing valves.

Our mission is clear and urgent. We strive to protect public water networks by eliminating pressure-related failures at the source.
PRVentor is the result of decades of engineering insight
Inventor David Taylor first identified the relationship between flow, pressure and leakage while working at Severn Trent Water in the 1980s. His early work on pressure control has since evolved into PRVentor, an adaptive bolt-on controller that converts standard PRVs from passive devices into active guardians of the network. Working with software development support from Rob Gell, he designed a product which substantially reduces leakage and infrastructure fatigue.
By preventing harmful transients and delivering only the pressure required, PRVentor reduces leakage, protects against bursts, improves water quality, and extends the life of infrastructure.

The PRVentor team brings expertise from water utilities, aerospace, defence, regulation, and finance. David Taylor leads innovation and product design. Matthew Harrison contributes operational and financial leadership built on his background in regulated industries and military service. Leigh Remfry brings world class experience in fluid dynamics and aerospace engineering. Peter Harrison provides strategic and financial direction. Software development is overseen by Justin Megawarne, with guidance from the original designer, Rob Gell.
Together we are redefining pressure management. Our goal is to provide utilities and regulators with a proven and scalable solution that reduces non-revenue water, protects public health, and delivers long term resilience for communities.
